DESCRIPTION:Join the EUTOPIA Connected Learning Community “Europe in the World”\nThe EUTOPIA Connected Learning Community (CLC) Europe in the World offers an interdisciplinary exploration of Europe’s evolving role in the global arena. Bringing together perspectives from the social sciences and humanities\, the community encourages dialogue and collaboration among students across EUTOPIA partner universities. \nThrough a variety of cross-campus learning activities\, participants engage with key European Union topics such as: \n\n\nthe international significance of European integration\, \n\n\nthe impact of global developments on Europe\, \n\n\nEU policymaking and law-making processes\, and \n\n\nthe changing role of Europe in the emerging world order. \n\n\n\nUpcoming Event: EU Simulation Exercise — “Chat Control” Regulation\nStudents are warmly invited to participate in the annual Simulation Exercise on the EU “Chat Control” Regulation\, taking place online on 19–20 January 2026. \nThis interactive course transforms theory into practice\, giving students the opportunity to experience firsthand how EU institutions negotiate policies\, apply rules\, and build strategies. \nUpon completion\, participants will receive a certificate of participation and EUTOPIA micro-credentials. \n\nPractical Information\n\n\n📅 Dates: 19–20 January 2026 \n\n\n💻 Format: Online\, in English \n\n\n🧾 Platform: Access via the dedicated VUB Canvas course \n\n\n💸 Participation: Free of charge (costs covered by VUB) \n\n\n🕐 Registration deadline: 1 December 2025 \n\n\n\nFor more details and to register\, please visit the Europe in the World webpage – Upcoming Events section. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to connect\, collaborate\, and experience European policymaking in action!
