The EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors is a flagship initiative of the EUTOPIA European University Alliance — a network of ten leading European universities collaborating to build a more connected, inclusive and career-focused university experience.
As part of this programme, a selected group of students from across the alliance work in close partnership with their home institutions’ career and professional orientation services to:
-
Bridge students with career opportunities: building and strengthening a transnational network of job, internship, and apprenticeship offers that are shared through both the ambassadors’ and EUTOPIA’s communication channels.
-
Support international mobility and professional integration: assisting fellow students — especially incoming exchange and degree students — in navigating career pathways both domestically and abroad.
-
Organise workshops and events: providing career development activities that are open to all students, academics, and staff across the EUTOPIA community. These events cover topics such as job markets in different European contexts, career planning strategies, EU professional opportunities, and intercultural employability skills.
The programme creates a vibrant community of student leaders committed to fostering professional growth, cross-cultural exchange, and career readiness across Europe. Alumni networks, peer mentoring, and hands-on workshops make this initiative a unique platform for students seeking to expand their horizons beyond formal education and into meaningful global careers.

Gabriela-Nicoleta Rus
Hello, I’m Gabriela-Nicoleta Rus, and I’m currently pursuing two MA programs at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca: Global Security and Human Rights Policies within the Faculty of History and Philosophy, and Irish Studies within the Faculty of Letters.
My academic interests lie at the intersection of British and Irish war poetry, geopolitics, and the exploration of different cultures through their languages. Outside my studies, I love reading, drawing, and engaging in meaningful conversations, especially on philosophy, literature, or even politics.
I would describe myself as curious and flexible, with just enough workaholism to keep my to-do list constantly growing.
Daria Ciufudean
Hi! I’m Daria, a 19 year old student currently studying International Relations & European Studies alongside Economics & International Affairs. I’ve always been inspired by the concept of “being the change” and by how it can make people feel empowered.
I would describe myself as someone who enjoys exploring new ideas, meeting people with different backgrounds, and finding meaning in the small things. Whether it’s diving into European policy debates, getting lost in a good book, or discovering a new coffee shop in Cluj, I love experiences that make me see the world from another angle.
