The Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) delegation proudly joins EUTOPIA Week in Cergy, a flagship event bringing together the vibrant academic and research communities of the EUTOPIA European University alliance.
The rector of our university, prof. univ. dr. psych. Daniel David, was elected president of the European Alliance EUTOPIA for a period of two years, 2025-2026, at the EUTOPIA meeting in Cergy, as part of the EUTOPIA week event (November 2024). “As I said a few weeks ago, there are few organizations for which I am willing to give additional managerial time from now on. EUTOPIA is one of these institutions, because it is fundamental for the development of UBB in the coming years. I thank my fellow rectors for the election – especially since we do not have a rotation system, but an elective one – and the rector of the University of Warwick for accepting the position of vice-president”, declares the rector of UBB, prof. univ. dr. psych. Daniel David.
Students also play a central role in shaping the EUTOPIA vision, actively engaging in discussions, projects, and exchanges that are reshaping the future of higher education in Europe.
Eutopia provides students with transformative opportunities to connect with peers across borders, embrace global challenges, and co-create innovative solutions. By participating in this week’s workshops, panels, and cultural events, UBB students and staff reaffirm their dedication to building a resilient and interconnected academic network.
Together, through EUTOPIA, we empower students to thrive as global citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
