From 22 to 24 September 2026, a delegation from Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) undertook a three-day visit to NOVA University Lisbon to strengthen institutional ties and explore opportunities for collaboration within the EUTOPIA Alliance.
The visit provided a setting for exchanging experiences, identifying shared interests and discussing potential joint initiatives in education, research, innovation and international mobility.
As part of the programme, the UBB delegation participated in a session on “Health Systems, Policies and Global Health Challenges” on 23 September. Held at the Rectorate of NOVA University Lisbon, the meeting brought together delegation members and representatives of NOVA’s National School of Public Health for presentations and discussions on global health governance and potential areas of cooperation.
Discussions also explored opportunities for joint teaching and research activities, as well as mobility for students, academic staff and administrative staff. The visit laid the groundwork for continued dialogue and the development of future partnerships between UBB and NOVA University Lisbon.
