From 21 to 25 September 2026, a delegation from Babeș-Bolyai University visited the University of Ljubljana, a partner within the EUTOPIA Alliance. The visit aimed to exchange experiences and good practices in international cooperation, research, and academic and administrative activities.
Meetings with representatives of the host university focused on managing national and international projects, implementing the Erasmus+ programme, supporting research and innovation, and advancing university internationalisation. The discussions enabled participants to compare approaches to organising these activities and identify potential areas of cooperation.
The programme also included presentations on the application of open science principles at the University of Ljubljana and student involvement in the activities of the EUTOPIA Alliance.
Visits to the Faculty of Economics and the Biotechnical Faculty provided opportunities for further discussions on student services, international cooperation, project management and quality assurance. The programme also included visits to the University Rectorate, the National Library and the Botanical Garden.
The visit strengthened ties between the two universities and provided an opportunity to identify good practices that could help improve academic and administrative activities through the cooperation promoted by the EUTOPIA Alliance.
