EUTOPIA TRAIN

EUTOPIA-TRAIN is an ambitious research initiative committed to the creation of a challenge-driven knowledge-creation community that capitalises on the EUTOPIA partners’ joint potential to promote innovation and societal impact. The program aims to integrate pan-EUTOPIA research and innovation communities and structures and open them to society, businesses, students, and policymakers. Implementation of the Education & Support Service for Citizen Science is planned as a result of this project.

EUTOPIA’s Citizen Science Education & Support Service

As the final deliverable in work package 3 of the EUTOPIA TRAIN project, the partners are about to launch an alliance-wide Education & Support Service for Citizen Science, available across the whole alliance (including UBB)! Starting in the academic year 2023-2024, we will develop an offer of training, peer learning sessions, inspirational events and different incentives both for researchers and supporting staff. General description: The EUTOPIA Science and Innovation Fellowship Programme has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement n. 945380, for a total number of 76 post-doctoral fellowships over 4 years and a budget of 10,2M€, of which 5,6M€ financed by the European Union and 4,6M€ by the EUTOPIA partner universities. EURSS: EUTOPIA Undergraduate Research Support Scheme

The EURSS is a great opportunity for students to lead their own international research projects.  You will develop valuable transferable skills, build your confidence and enhance your CV and career prospects. Mobility is a key component of the EURSS: you cannot carry out your entire research project in the same country as your home institution. Firstly, you will need to find a home supervisor, an academic or post-doctoral student, at your home university and discuss your project idea. Call for UBB Teachers: EUTOPIA Learning Communities

We are in the midst of the second run of competitions for new Integrated Connected Communities within the EUTOPIA university alliance. As a reminder, the competition was launched at UBB on 15 November, and the deadline for applications is 19 February 2024, 23:59. Applications can be submitted in the dedicated space on the UBB MS Teams platform, in the “Eutopia-Learning Communities” Group (access code: a65pudf). The application consists of a “Letter of Commitment” and a CV of the submitting teachers. A MAPPING SURVEY of student organizations in partner universities of the EUTOPIA University Alliance (an initiative under the EUTOPIA MORE project)

Taking the EUTOPIA student organization mapping survey is the first step towards achieving this goal. EUTOPIA is an alliance of ten European universities working together for the development of cross-border integrated higher education institutions. The focus of this alliance is on students, and our aim is to facilitate the networking of student organizations across the member universities within the EUTOPIA MORE project, funded by the Erasmus + Programme 2021-2027.
