UBB Representatives Visit the EUTOPIA Central Office in Brussels

On 14–15 October 2026, representatives of Babeș-Bolyai University took part in an exchange visit to the EUTOPIA Central Office in Brussels, focusing on institutional cooperation, student engagement and opportunities for collaboration in education.

The programme included meetings with the Central Office team to discuss its structure and operations, its relations with partner universities, and the connection between the Alliance’s activities and day-to-day work at UBB.

Part of the visit focused on student well-being and student life, diversity and inclusion, as well as ways to involve students in EUTOPIA. These topics provided a framework for exchanging experiences on supporting an inclusive university community and encouraging students’ active participation in the Alliance’s initiatives.

The programme also addressed joint and double degree programmes, open courses and flexible learning opportunities, alongside accreditation and quality assurance. Meetings with the Central Office team and colleagues from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) provided further opportunities for dialogue and the exchange of good practices.

Through these discussions, the visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between UBB and the EUTOPIA Central Office and explore ways to make the most of the Alliance’s opportunities for the benefit of the university community.
